See Your Home in a Whole New Light
Streak-free glass and brighter rooms across San Antonio & the Hill Country.
Clean windows change how a home feels. More light comes through, views open up, and the whole property looks freshly cared for from the curb. Texas Pure Clean handles residential window cleaning for homes, ranch-style properties, and hill-country residences across San Antonio and the surrounding communities. It's part of our full residential services, right alongside house washing, roof cleaning, and gutter cleaning — many customers book them together for one big, visible refresh.
Every home is a little different, so we tailor the plan to your panes, elevations, landscaping, and preferences. For office buildings, retail centers, and larger commercial properties, start on the commercial window cleaning page.
What We Can Include
Exterior, interior, and specialty glass.
Pick the pieces that fit your home — exterior only, exterior plus interior, screens and tracks, or specialty glass like sunrooms, transoms, and skylights. We'll spell out the scope in the quote so there are no surprises.
Exterior Glass
Exterior panes on accessible elevations, evaluated by pane count, size, height, and surrounding conditions before scheduling.
Interior Glass
Interior glass may be included when scoped in advance. Access depends on furniture, window treatments, and the property owner's preferences on occupied-home days.
French Doors & Sidelights
Divided-lite doors, sidelights, and transoms are reviewed as their own scope because they take longer than plain panes.
Screens, Tracks & Sills
Screen rinsing and track/sill wipe-down are only included when specifically listed in the written scope — not assumed on every quote.
Skylights
Skylights are reviewed separately for access, roof pitch, and safe positioning; they are quoted only where a safe access approach is confirmed.
Post-Construction Glass
Panes with paint overspray, adhesive, stickers, silicone, or construction residue are a separate scope from routine cleaning — see the note below on residues.
Method & Equipment
Water-fed poles, purified water, and traditional detail cleaning.
Texas Pure Clean uses water-fed pole equipment with purified water where appropriate, and traditional detail cleaning where the scope calls for it. Which method fits which pane depends on the surface, the access, and what the homeowner is trying to achieve — a single home may involve both approaches.
Water-Fed Poles & Purified Water
Texas Pure Clean uses water-fed pole equipment with purified water where appropriate. Reach and suitability are assessed per property — no universal reach or floor claim is made.
Traditional Detail Cleaning
Hand-detailed cleaning with squeegees and microfiber may be used where scope, surface, or access calls for it. Method selection is confirmed as part of the scope.
Mixed Approach
Some homes combine pole work on tall or awkward exterior panes with hand detailing at eye-level and interior panes. The mix is decided per property.
Method Selection
Which method fits which pane depends on frame material, glass condition, surrounding finishes, landscaping, and access — not a single default.
We'll walk the home with you and choose the right method for each elevation — the goal is bright, streak-free glass that stays clean-looking on every window we touch.

Access & Property Factors
What we look at when reviewing a home.
Pane Count & Size
Total pane count and pane size drive scope more than square footage. Divided lites and specialty shapes take longer per opening.
Height & Reach
Height and reach for each elevation are assessed on site. Access approach is confirmed per property; no fixed reach specification is promised sight unseen.
Rooflines & Overhangs
Complex rooflines, overhangs, second-story bump-outs, and inset windows influence how a pane is approached.
Landscaping
Beds, delicate plantings, irrigation, and hardscape around a pane are considered so the work area can be protected.
Screens
Screen condition, frame condition, and whether screens are removed for cleaning are confirmed in advance rather than assumed.
Interior Furniture & Treatments
For interior panes, furniture placement, blinds, drapery, and shutters are coordinated with the homeowner before the crew arrives.
Conditions We Commonly See
Routine soil, mineral staining, and construction residue.
Not every visible mark on a pane is the same thing, and not every condition is addressed by a routine cleaning. Separating these categories helps set realistic expectations before scheduling.
Routine Soil & Film
General dust, pollen, rain spotting, and film that build up on exterior glass over time — the everyday reason to schedule a cleaning.
Mineral Spotting & Etching
Hard-water spotting from irrigation overspray or runoff. Some spotting responds well; older spotting can etch the glass and is a separate assessment from routine cleaning — no removal guarantee.
Construction Residue
Paint overspray, adhesive, stickers, silicone, texture, and stucco residue on panes are reviewed separately from routine cleaning and are not covered by a routine-cleaning quote.
Weathering & Frame Condition
Weathered frames, failed seals, and pre-existing damage are noted where visible; window cleaning does not repair frame or seal issues.
Related mineral scopes on other exterior surfaces are covered on the rust and calcium removal page. Roof and gutter conditions visible from the ground can be discussed alongside the roof cleaning and gutter cleaning pages.
Preparation & Occupied-Home Considerations
A little preparation makes the visit go smoothly.
Access to Elevations
Clear access to exterior elevations — gates unlocked, vehicles moved as coordinated, pets secured — helps the crew work safely.
Interior Furniture & Treatments
For interior scopes, homeowners typically move small items and open blinds or shutters before the crew arrives.
Landscaping & Irrigation
Irrigation zones near planned work areas are best paused for the day so mineral spotting is not reintroduced immediately after cleaning.
Pets & People
Pets and people are kept clear of the immediate work area by the property owner during pole work and ladder positioning.
Windows Closed
Interior blinds up and windows closed makes exterior water-fed-pole work go faster and avoids water intrusion.
Access Verification
Every access point is verified on site before work begins. If a specific window cannot be reached safely, it is flagged rather than forced.
Careful Project Workflow
How a window-cleaning project moves forward.
Details & Photos
You share the property, the areas being considered, and any timing preferences. Photos of elevations, specialty windows, and interior spaces speed up the response.
Scope Review
We review the property — in person where practical, or from photos and site details — to understand pane count, access, screens, and interior involvement.
Written Quote
A written quote describes what is included, any assumptions about interior access, screen handling, and residues, so the scope is clear before scheduling.
Preparation & Coordination
Preparation notes are shared; interior furniture, window treatments, pets, and irrigation are coordinated with the homeowner.
Careful Workflow
The crew works methodically through the scoped panes, protecting adjacent surfaces and adjusting method or access approach based on on-site conditions.
Completion Review
Before leaving, the crew walks the completed elevations so anything that needs a second look can be addressed while onsite.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about residential window cleaning.
Do you clean interior windows too?+
Interior window cleaning can be included when scoped in advance. Interior access, furniture, window treatments, and the homeowner's preferences are coordinated before the day of service — interior work is not automatically part of an exterior quote.
How do water-fed poles and purified water work?+
Water-fed pole equipment uses purified water fed through a pole to reach exterior panes without ladders on every opening. Texas Pure Clean uses this approach where appropriate. Reach, pane suitability, and whether traditional hand detailing is a better fit for a given elevation are decided per property — no universal reach or floor count is promised.
Can you reach my tall or high-up windows?+
Height and access are assessed per property. Some tall exterior panes are reached with water-fed poles; others may require a different access approach. If a specific window cannot be reached safely from the ground or with the scoped access approach, it is flagged rather than forced.
Will you remove hard water spots and mineral etching?+
Some hard water spotting responds well to cleaning; older mineral spotting can etch the surface of the glass and is a separate assessment from routine cleaning. We are happy to look at the panes and describe what to reasonably expect — no removal is guaranteed sight unseen. Related mineral scopes on other surfaces are covered on the rust and calcium removal page.
Do you clean screens, tracks, and sills?+
Screen rinsing and track/sill wipe-down are included only when specifically listed on the written quote. Screen condition and frame condition are noted where visible; the service does not repair damaged screens or frames.
What about paint overspray, stickers, or construction residue on the glass?+
Post-construction residue — paint overspray, adhesive, stickers, silicone, texture, and stucco — is a different scope than a routine cleaning and is quoted separately. Ask when you request the quote so it can be reviewed appropriately.
Is this residential or commercial?+
This page focuses on residential window cleaning across San Antonio and the Hill Country. For office buildings, retail centers, and larger commercial properties, see the commercial window cleaning page.
How do I get a quote?+
Call, use the form on this page, or reach out through the contact page. Property address, pane count if known, and photos of any specialty windows help us respond quickly.
