Cleaning Up United Texas Credit Union in Boerne

July 23, 20264 min read

Texas Pure Clean brought the United Texas Credit Union branch on Main Street in Boerne back to life — limestone walls, signage, curbs, sidewalks, drive-through, and the full exterior. Here are the before and after photos.

If you drive down Main Street in Boerne, you have almost certainly passed the United Texas Credit Union branch. It is a beautiful Hill Country stone building on one of the busiest stretches in town — which also means every algae streak, every dirty curb, and every stained sidewalk is on display to thousands of drivers a day.

Texas Pure Clean cleaned it up. The scope covered the entire exterior: the limestone walls, the illuminated signage and monument sign, the curbs, the sidewalks, the drive-through lanes, and the entry areas around the branch.

Before

Here is the property before we started. Even in the morning fog, you can see the black staining on the stone, the green and orange organic buildup on the concrete drive-through and sidewalks, and the algae working its way down the monument sign.

What We Cleaned

This was a full-exterior commercial job. Every surface got the right approach:

  • **Limestone walls** — soft wash chemistry that lifted algae and mildew out of the porous stone without blasting or etching the finish.
  • **Signage and monument sign** — careful low-pressure cleaning around the illuminated letters and the stone pillar.
  • **Curbs, sidewalks, and drive-through** — hot water and surface cleaning to pull years of organic staining, tire marks, and traffic grime out of the concrete.
  • **Entry pad, windows, and trim** — detailed work around the doors and glass so the front of the branch actually looks welcoming.

After

Here is the same property once we finished. The limestone is back to its natural Hill Country color, the signage is bright and clean, and the concrete around the entry, drive-through, and fire lane is restored to a uniform look across the property.

Why It Matters for a Business on Main Street

A credit union, a restaurant, a bank, a retail storefront — anything on a main drag in Boerne is being judged from the street every single day. Clean stone, clean concrete, and clean signage tell people the business cares. Dirty stone and streaked concrete tell them the opposite, even when nothing else is wrong with the operation.

Cleaning the exterior is one of the highest-return things a local business can do. It costs a fraction of a renovation, it does not disrupt operations, and the difference is visible from the road the same day.
