When an HOA has miles of sidewalks, curbs, and perimeter walls to keep clean, the job is not about a pressure washer — it is about water logistics.
When you are ready to have miles of sidewalks cleaned, give us a call. This is one of our ongoing HOA clients — a large master-planned community in the San Antonio area with miles of perimeter sidewalks, curbs, and community walkways that need cleaned on a recurring schedule. This is not a job you can hand to a guy with a hose bib and a pressure washer. This is a water-logistics job, and it is exactly what Texas Pure Clean is built for.
Miles of Concrete Is a Water Problem, Not a Cleaning Problem
Anybody with a surface cleaner can make a driveway look good. Cleaning miles of continuous sidewalk on a moving crew is a completely different animal. The wand does not stop. The surface cleaner does not stop. Which means the water supply cannot stop either — and a typical residential hose bib simply cannot keep up with a commercial-grade surface cleaner running all day long.
That is why big sidewalk work requires two things most pressure washing companies do not have: very large onboard tanks, and the legal ability to draw water directly from municipal fire hydrants.
Our Rigs Carry the Water With Us
Our trucks are custom-built for exactly this kind of work. We run large-capacity poly tanks — plenty of onboard water to keep a surface cleaner moving continuously without stopping to hunt for a spigot. That means the crew stays on the concrete, the trigger stays down, and mile after mile of sidewalk comes clean in a single day instead of dragging out over a week.
Permitted Fire Hydrant Access
For the biggest jobs, tanks alone are not enough. You have to refill, and you have to refill fast. That is where our hydrant meter and city agreement come in. Texas Pure Clean carries the permits and the proper hydrant meter assemblies — the blue supply lines, the backflow-protected valves, and the metered hookups — that allow us to legally pull water straight off municipal fire hydrants and refill the trucks on site.
This is not something a homeowner or an under-equipped contractor can do. Drawing from a hydrant without a permit and the right hardware is illegal, it damages the hydrant, and it can contaminate the municipal supply. We do it the right way: metered, backflow-protected, and coordinated with the water utility. That is what makes miles of sidewalks possible in a single deployment.
Sidewalks, Curbs, and Perimeter Walls — All in the Same Pass
While we are working the sidewalks with a surface cleaner, the second man is on the curbs and the base of the perimeter fence line with a hot-water wand. Tannin drip lines under crape myrtles, tire scrub along the curb face, mildew streaking down from the sprinklers — all of it comes off in the same pass. The result is a continuous clean edge that reads as maintained from the road, not just a strip of clean concrete with dirty borders.
Why HOAs Keep Us on Retainer
Boards and property managers hire us and stick with us for a few simple reasons. We show up with the right equipment for the scale of the property. We do not tie up their residents' water. We carry the permits and the insurance to be on public right-of-way. We work early, we work efficiently, and we leave the community looking sharp before the next board meeting or the next holiday weekend.
The community feels the difference immediately. Residents notice the sidewalks. Visitors notice the entrances. Realtors notice curb appeal at the perimeter walls. It is one of the highest-impact, lowest-drama services an HOA can put in place.
