For many years, our team held a monthly cleaning contract at Miami Children's Hospital in South Florida — buildings, parking garages, walkways, and exterior staircases across the entire campus. Here's a look at that work and one of the before-and-after results.
Miami Children's Hospital was one of the most recognized pediatric hospitals in South Florida for decades. The campus has since changed hands and now operates as Nicklaus Children's Hospital after a major naming gift, but the facility itself is the same well-known children's hospital the community has trusted for years.
For a long stretch of that history, our team was the cleaning contractor keeping the exterior of that campus looking the way a children's hospital should look. We held a monthly contract and rotated through the property on a set schedule — buildings, parking garages, walkways, entries, and exterior staircases — so nothing ever got away from us.

One Before-and-After From the Campus

That's one wall on one building. The before shot is what South Florida humidity, rain, and organic growth do to a concrete panel exterior when it isn't on a maintenance program. The after shot is the same wall after our crew went through it with the right soft wash chemistry and rinse for the panel system — no aggressive pressure, no damaged joints, just the panels brought back to the color they were designed to be.
Monthly Contract, Whole Campus
A hospital campus doesn't get to look tired. Patients, families, doctors, and staff are walking those sidewalks and pulling into those garages every single day, and first impressions matter — especially at a children's hospital, where families are already dealing with enough.
Our monthly rotation covered the parts of the campus that make the biggest visible difference:
- Building exteriors and concrete panel façades
- Multi-level parking garages — drive lanes, stalls, entries, and elevator approaches
- Sidewalks, entries, and pedestrian walkways connecting the buildings
- Exterior staircases and stair landings
- Columns, curbs, and architectural details around the main entrances
Because we were there on a set cadence, buildup never got to the point where the campus looked neglected. Each visit was more about maintaining a standard than fighting years of neglected grime.
Working Around a 24/7 Hospital
A children's hospital doesn't close. Ambulances, deliveries, family drop-offs, shift changes, and clinic traffic run around the clock, and the exterior cleaning had to fit around all of it. We planned each visit in phases — one section, one garage level, one entry at a time — so the property was never fully out of service and the areas we were working in were coned, signed, and controlled.
That kind of scheduling discipline is the same approach we bring to hospitals, retail centers, and multi-building commercial properties today in San Antonio and across the Hill Country. The site is different, but the rules are the same: protect the people using the property, protect the surfaces you're cleaning, and leave every area better than you found it.
The Same Standard, In Texas Now
The owner of Texas Pure Clean brought that South Florida hospital, hospitality, and commercial cleaning background — including the years on the Miami Children's Hospital campus — with him when the company relocated to San Antonio. That's why our building cleaning and parking garage cleaning programs feel a little different from the average local pressure washer. We've done this on properties where the details are watched closely, and we run the same playbook here.
If you manage a hospital, medical office campus, large commercial property, or any facility that needs to stay clean on a schedule instead of a scramble, we'd be glad to walk the property and put together a monthly or quarterly program that fits how your site actually runs.
